WHY IS THE FAULT IN OUR STARS SO SAD NO ONE PREPARED ME FOR THIS
Good job to everyone on not spoiling TFIOS for this person even 12 years after its initial publication. For several years it was almost impossible to approach TFIOS cold, but it’s lovely to see it starting to happen again.
p.s. sorry for the sad parts.
"It's been the greatest experience of my life. (...) To everyone who came out to see us play, thank you. I feel so incredibly full and happy, it's all because of you. You have given me memories that will last a lifetime, more than I could have ever dreamed of"
Jealous Carmy
So we saw Jealous Sydney this season. I didn’t like it at first but now I’m fully onboard with her being petty. I think it’s only fair we see Carmy be jealous in the future.
We’ve seen him be petty twice. He was super petty in S1 fighting with Richie in the fridge. He was also petty about the review with Sydney. Jeremy said he played it as being jealous and I believe him. So how do we think he’s gonna act if he’s romantically jealous, but not aware of it, over Sydney?
We saw him be unhinged when she quit. Yeah, he felt she left him high and dry and he was already raging over the chaos. But, part of me thinks that was the first sign of it being personal with her. It played out like an abrupt breakup that he was blindsided by. We even got the pining sadness with him telling Tina she dressed like Syd and him gently stroking her notebook. Did those scenes not seem like an ex boyfriend having a memory triggered?
So I know if he feels in anyway like her attention and affections are with someone else he’s going to be super uncomfortable. I’m just wondering how this will play it. Will he go full on bear rage mode or will it be a simmering catty petty like Syd?
Thoughts?
"the fuck are you doing?"
"i was gonna hug you!"
"well, you came at me too fast!"
"jesus sorrEH, i forgot how skittish elderly people could be because of the war"
The funniest thing about "US war crimes made the people who did it feel super bad 😟" is pretty much universally across the board it really didn't
its really bizarre how after a couple decades of mostly uncensored internet access and raunchy premium cable made it so nobody gives a shit about swearing, we're now re-entering an era of quaint self-censorship in the name of platform marketability rather than politeness. im sure nobody actually cares. im sure none of the advertising dicks, or boardmembers, or anybody really cares that much personally. they just think it will scare people off somehow. so now grown adults are saying "h-e-double-hockey-sticks" ass bullshit on the same social media websites where they try to get their meat slonked and find a dealer.
I came out of Barbie with one single thought in my head and that was that I wanted Ken’s “I am Kenough” sweatshirt immediately
sorry for not answering messages for three thousand years i have. Stew. in place of a brain. you know how it is
"Misty is the scariest Yellowjacket!" "No it's Taissa!"
Are you kidding me. It's so obviously Shauna. Shauna is so fucking viscerally terrifying it's not even funny. If I saw her walking down the street I'd turn and run the other direction. Except then her fuckin predator drive would get triggered and she'd start chasing me down.
